Friday Blogs
This is what your blog posts should do:
-seriously engage in the material
-self-reflect and course or material-reflect
-critique, analyze, pursue an idea with coherence
-attempt to engage the reader. otherwise, for goodness's sake, why are we all bothering?
-be: thoughtful. original. timely.
-deploy tone purposively to suit your goals
-tag keywords (we'll get into tagging after week 2)
This is what your blog posts should not do:
-summarize
-be boring or repetitive (there is no room for that in 500 words)
-cram a mini essay into a small space
-aim to please the teacher (ha!)
-be offensive or overly informal
What your blog posts might do:
-include multimedia
-hyperlink to other parts of your site once you've built more
-hyperlink to classmates' sites
